Using /MT makes your EXE self-contained, and probably a little faster. May I drop them? I found this solution from the DISLIN developers : (i) in MS VC++\Project\ Properties pull-down... (ii) Property Pages\Ignore Specific Default Libraries : libc.lib (iii) Property Pages\Additional Dependencies\Edit : libcmt.lib Bingo! Select Linker -> Input, and where you see the option for Ignore Specific Default Libraries, enter libc.lib. check over here

I was testing the new 2005 Visual Studio, and this error with 'LIBC.lib' comes at the end...Very sad, I can't use Visual Studio 2005 that seems cool by the way. In MSVC++, LNK1104 could mean 'not enough space' (thinking that LIBC.lib was created by the Simple program itself) but I have GBs of free space. Finally, I did find that there is a static library linked which was built with an old version of VisualStudio. What is the term for the opposite of "bleed" in printing?
