If you were to try to save a workbook from within Excel using a filename with square brackets in the filename, you will be notified that you are trying to use However, no matter what I do, the wizard just tells me that the data source reference is not valid. Well, despite what the error message suggests, it is probably not your data source that is invalid, it is most likely the filename of your workbook that causes this problem.

It will work if it is a saved csv, xls, xlsx, etc. The program that I used to export the original data puts it i n web page format, and uses underscores on both the sheet name and file name.
